This tutorial will show you how to make a Transparent Blog in Paint shop pro
1-open up the image that you want to add the blog too
2-Okay go to your tool bar and click on the "preset Shape tool" (if you not sure which that one is hover of the tools)
3-Okay no select the shape you want to use I will be using the star shape (see screen shot bellow)



4-Okay now set your forground color to White
5-Go up to "layers>new raster layer"
6-Add the shape to your picture.
7-Now set your settings to "Hard light" and play around with the opacity (i set mine at 60)
8-Now if its a little hard to see your blog go up to "effects>3D effects>drop shadow" and match your settings to mine (see screen shot bellow)



9-Now right click the first layer and go to "merge>merge all flatten"
And now your done! Add some text or whatever floats your boat! My finished product is bellow
