the 2ed step is to open up a black canvas (or any color you want! this will be the boder color!)
Paste (paste as new selection) the psd onto the black canvas (or the color you chose!) there should be a dancing border around the psd
go up to selections>modify>expand
set your settings to match mine! (where it says "number of pixels" thats going to be how big the border is! you can actually set that to w/e you want)
Okay now just right click the psd (using the hand tool)
and press copy! then go to your splat layout (or where every you want to put it) and right click and press "paste as new selection" move the psd around till you get it to where you want it
